Mutton is one of my favorite non vegetarian delicacies, and if cooked perfectly , with the right spices there’s no better curry, or snack than the one having mutton. lovely having this mutton (Dry mutton ) with a slice of indian bread.

Ingredients

  • Lamb chunks (boneless) – 500 gm
  • Ginger chopped – 2 tsp
  • Garlic chopped – 2 tsp
  • Green chilly – 4 Nos
  • Oil to cook
  • Bay leaf – 1 no
  • Cinnamon stick – 1 no
  • Green cardamom – 2 no
  • Cloves – 2 no
  • Coriander Powder – 3 tsp
  • Chilli powder – 4 tsp
  • Brown onion – 1 cup
  • Sliced onion – 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes Chopped – 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder – 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice – 1 no
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
  • Garam masala powder – 1 tsp

Method

  • Take the boneless lamb mix garlic, ginger, browned onion, green chilly and lemon juice mix it well .
  • Leave it for 2 hour.
  • Take a vessel, add oil add whole spices and sauté
  • Add sliced onion, add tomatoes with coriander powder & chilli powder and cook till the raw flavors go away.
  • Add marinated lamb pieces cook with masala and cook further on slow fire with a lid on.
  • After the lamb becomes soft and tender and jeera powder and cardamom powder and a garam masala powder to finish.
  • While serving squeeze lemon juice and garnish with chopped coriander.
