Caramel rava pudding

This caramel rava pudding is all time favourite for kids.. it’s nuts free dessert..

I am planning to add this recipe in kids menu in my bistro. It is a very simple recipe and all the ingredients are easily available in all kitchen…Try this out…


  •  Milk – 2 1/4 cup
  • Sugar – 1/2cup
  • Semolina – 1/4cup ( little less)
  • Butter (unsalted) – 2tbsp
  • Vanilla essence – few drop
  • Egg – 2no’s
    For caramel
  • Sugar – 1/2cup
  • Water – 2 tbsp


  •  Heat sugar & water till caramel consistency ( golden colour)
  • Pour caramel syrup in mould & spread.
  • Keep it aside the caramel will set in mould.
  • Bring milk to boil, add sugar, butter & mix well
  • Add semolina & cook up to 70 %
  • Remove from stove.
  • Pour egg & essence into milk mixture & keep stirring.
  • Pour the mixture in mould & cover it.
  • Double boil for 20 to 25 minutes till it’s firm
  • Make sure while double boil the mould should touch water.
  • After remove from double boil wait for 10 minutes & place the pudding upside down..
  • You can refrigerate the pudding & serve chill
